Environmental Sustainability We’re committed to safeguarding the planet for future generations. Since our first carbon footprint measurement in 2019, we’ve reduced emissions annually, making Adecco carbon neutral in just three years, supplemented with carbon offsetting. We’re now tackling long-term goals through offsetting, green energy, and targeted carbon reduction programmes.
We’re balancing our CO2 emissions and bringing health, conservation and economic benefits to local communities by partnering with: The Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary in Cambodia The Larimar Windfarm Project in the Dominican Republic The Trees for Life charity in the Scottish Highlands
To help us realise our longer-term objectives, our board-sponsored Environment Committee has set out carbon-reducing plans across three key areas: Reducing travel, particularly by air Cutting onsite energy use Replacing company cars with electric vehicles

Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary, Cambodia Our carbon offset projects mitigate our environmental impact while delivering benefits to local communities. The Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary protects one of Cambodia’s largest remaining primary forests, providing a habitat for over 1,000 wild or threatened species. The project also helps conserve indigenous cultures living within the area’s protected forest.
Larimar Windfarm Project, Dominican Republic The 97.8MW onshore windfarm generates clean electricity using wind energy. The project also powers infrastructure improvements and vital health services in the local community, including road repairs, medical outreach programmes, and a hospital emergency room.
Trees for Life, Scotland To celebrate the lasting impact our work has, The Adecco Group has partnered with Trees for Life since 2019 to plant trees for candidates we place, new clients and our colleagues. Trees for Life runs innovative conservation projects that cultivate new forests, drive biodiversity, and combat climate change. Since the partnership began, we’ve planted over 10,000 trees, helping to rewild the Scottish Highlands.
